This was the perfect cabin for our family We stayed in the fox den. Peaceful and safe location. We would definitely stay again. The hosts were proactive with their communication and responsive. Only regret is that we didn’t stay for longer.
My sister and our husbands stayed for the weekend and we really enjoyed our visit. The hot tub was relaxing and it was so quiet. You can really see the stars, since there’s no lights around. We all loved having two bathrooms. This place was very clean and well maintained. The only suggestion would be to put a ceiling fan on the porch. Great place to get away.
This was our 3rd time staying at these cabins. We have enjoyed it every time and we will continue to book with them. The cabins are always so clean and well stocked with basic essentials. The hot tub is an amazing bonus.
We stayed in cabin 4 this weekend and everything was perfect. It was very clean and well maintained. It was quiet with amazing views! It was very close to lake fort smith, we went there for a day hike and came back to relax in the hot tub. Everything was amazing! We will definitely be back!
We stayed at this cabin for the weekend and it was a beautiful cabin, great jacuzzi, a nearby lake. We got to enjoy ourselves out in nature, saw a few deer’s. Overall it was great.
Excellent little cabin getaway. Clean and well stocked. We recommend Cabin #5 for the most privacy and it’s just down the road from Lake Fort Smith State Park.
LeAnn was great to work with – from reservation questions, to recommendations on rainy day activities, to helping me track down firewood. The cabin (and hot tub!) was an absolutely perfect spot to relax after days of hiking. I didn’t want to leave, and can’t wait to go back!!
Cute and cozy cabin in peaceful location. We had a family wedding at Lake Fort Smith State Park and this was a quick 5 minute drive. Cabin was clean and comfy and hosts were easy to reach and very accommodating. We also got in a great day of hiking at Devils Den State Park.
One tip is to get groceries in Ft Smith or Fayetteville as not much is available in Mountainburg. Plenty of kitchenware for family meals at the cabin.
Had a group traveling the TransAmerica Trail (TAT) on motorcycles and 4×4’s and this was our last stop in Arkansas. Lazy Bear 1 was a sight for soar eyes and rears. It was clean, comfortable, and it was good to soak my old bones in the hot before a restful night. Anyone doing the TAT, this is close to the end of the Warloop Road segment. I highly recommend.
We had a wonderful time. We stayed in cabin 3 and it was just right to celebrate our anniversary. The view was perfect.
